The headlines write themselves

While part of my brain is debugging an annoying new behavior in this software, another part of my brain can't help think about a bit of local news.

It seems a local chicken restaurant known primarily for its Buffalo wings and locally-grown breasts has gone tits-up:

After 35 years, the Hooters restaurant in River North has closed.

The location first opened in 1991 at 660 N. Wells St. The company cited increasing development and neighborhood changes, which a Hooters spokesperson told NBC Chicago led it β€œto the difficult but considered decision to leave this location.”

Hooters did not comment on the allegations that many of their birds are enhanced with saline injections.

No need to mourn, though. Hooters still has at least 8 locations around the city and suburbs, plus two "hoots" locations if you just want the wings.
