Gross weather, Cassie is bored

The remnants of Hurricane Polo made it to Chicago yesterday, so we've had nearly non-stop rain for 30 hours or so. I did manage to give Cassie a couple of modest walks this morning, but then I got sucked into a project that I am just coming out of.

Cassie is now nudging me pretty firmly, so I should probably take her out regardless of the rain. Radar looks like this at the moment:

We're right by the edge of the nasty yellow blob that's about to soak us. But she has to pee, so out we go. This will be the second day in a row that I failed to get 10,000 steps. (I should fix that tomorrow, however.)
