Just a couple of things I paid attention to today:
- In one of the clearest, brightest, Dunning-Krueger self-owns this century, the OAFPOTUS said all we need to deal with AI is "a strong and smart (High IQ!) president." I mean, that would help...
- Former Clinton labor secretary Robert Reich follows the money to understand why the OAFPOTUS is obsessed with AI, while Paul Krugman looks at the polling as another reason.
- After a Federal judge said no, just no, you cannot put the OAFPOTUS's name on someone else's memorial without an act of Congress, the Kennedy Center board voted to close the institution. Someone should ask them why they're still bending over for the OAFPOTUS at this stage of his decline.
- ComEd, which supplies electricity to Illinois and other Midwest states, has quietly rolled out a plan to make data center projects pledge $1 billion in valid letters of credit to cover the ComEd's increased costs, leading to the cancellation of 60% of speculative data center projects in the state.
I still need more sleep after rehearsal last night. I think tonight will be quiet couch time with a dog. Fortunately, I have a dog available right here.
