Goodreads ascribes this to Lin Yutang. I ascribe the last few hours of my life to having learned to live.

At some point the rain will let up long enough for me to take Cassie out. While we wait, she has learned to live better than any human, as she's been fast asleep since we took an hour-long walk at lunchtime.

I'm sure I'll have more exciting things to say tomorrow.
