I had planned today to see the Big Boy locomotive, visit two new Brews & Choos locations on the same train line, and end up at Aba for their transcendent tamarind BBQ pork belly bites.
The Metra delays caused by 4,000 people trying to board the same train back to the city, and my own failure to find out when one of the breweries actually opened, left me with fewer options than I needed to do everything.
All I have to say is, .500 is a really good day in baseball. And I'm about to have tamarind BBQ pork belly bites.
