Now that I live only 800 meters from Lake Michigan, I get to experience lakefront cooling on otherwise hot days. For instance, right now it's 26°C at O'Hare and 21°C here:
Granted, lakefront cooling such as you see above feels a lot better when the temperatures are 5°C higher. It's still a gorgeous late-spring day, and I'm about to take the dogs out.
Unrelated, there are a couple of very rude bots banging away at the site right now, ignoring the site's robots.txt file and hitting it with thousands of requests, so if things seem a bit slow, I'll get them sorted this afternoon.
