It's getting better all the time

My Garmin device even warned me that I apparently had a mild fever, with my skin temperature almost 1°C above normal. Fortunately I feel better now than I did even 12 hours ago, so I expect all this will pass by tomorrow.
But now, here are a few must-read articles this morning:
- The New York Times ran a 5-part explanation of the Supreme Court's "shadow docket," whereby the Republican justices halt all progress by Democratic administrations without even bothering to lie about it. Because they're corrupt.
- Timothy Noah charts the path of tech bros from idealists to oligarchs who love using their private money to influence public policy (after getting chunks of their private money from the public); i.e., corruption.
- Charles Marohn explains how traffic studies are often fantasies to unlock Federal money rather than good-faith efforts to fix traffic problems. This is corruption: poor public outcomes from spending public money on private enrichment.
Wow, it's almost like there's a pattern?
Finally, Dean Blundell brings us the hilarious, own-goal dismissal of MAGA clown Laura Loomer's lawsuit against Bill Maher. It's a 2-minute read, depending on how much time you spend laughing. The MAGAts are not chosen for their intelligence or self-awareness.
